The Gaming Authority in Netherlands, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), has put forward plans to partner with Facebook in bid to combat the rampant illegal online lotteries, also referred to as ‘dipping.’

Organizers?now are due to be?notified of any violation.?In addition to this, it will be?reported to?Facebook,?where the?platform?must?remove the group in?question?in line with their?guidelines.?

This?approach?has already been implemented by the?two parties, as they investigated?and flagged?13?cases of illegal lotteries,?for which?Facebook?have removed them from their network.?

The KSA concluded that?they are certain of this methods effectiveness in controlling gambling violations.??
